Patchwork Wool Cardigan

Seen from a plane at night, a city looks like this: dark blocks, and in each one a pool of coloured light. Black frames every square of this cardigan in a firm lattice, and within it sunbursts of blue, red, teal and pink glow outward, each holding its own small world. The black is what gives it composure; without it, the colour would simply spill. Crocheted in a wool blend, it is warm and textured, with a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem that lend it structure. Wear it over a black tee and jeans. The squares are crocheted by hand and pieced together, the colours falling into their own sequence.
