Strawberry Pocket Cardigan

Two strawberries, kept low and almost secret, one on each pocket. Above them, deep red runs across the shoulders and sleeves, then meets a soft pink band in a clean line, as if the garment had been dipped. It is restraint with a sense of humour. Hands go into the pockets; the fruit goes with them. Wear this cardigan open over a cream top and straight jeans, or buttoned with the red buttons when it turns cold. The chunky knit is warm and has heft, a merino wool blend with puffed sleeves. Knitted and finished by hand, each berry crocheted and set on separately.
