Strawberry Cardigan – Pink & Red

Meant to quarrel, red and pink make up here. Red ribbing draws a firm line around the deep V, the cuffs and the hem, and inside it the strawberries sit flecked with white seeds and capped in green, raised off a soft pink knit. Wooden buttons calm things down the front. It is a cardigan for the friend who dresses with a wink. Loose over a tee, or buttoned up on a cold day. The chunky merino wool blend is warm and generous. Each strawberry is crocheted separately and stitched on by hand, so they never fall into a pattern.
