Lemon Cardigan – Sage

Two kinds of lemon share this sea-green field: flat slices, cut and laid open, and whole fruit standing right off the knit, each with a small green leaf. It is a still life, really, the sort painted on a kitchen table on a slow afternoon, only you can wear it. The cardigan crops at the waist with softly rounded balloon sleeves, wooden buttons and a plain back. Leave it open over a white shirt and denim shorts, or button it up and let the fruit take over. The chunky merino wool blend is warm and has texture under the hand. Knitted by hand, each lemon placed by hand.
