Hexagon Cardigan – Aqua

Lagoon colours, and a secret at each wrist. Lime, aqua and denim blue shift through every round of the large squares, the yarn changing as it goes so no two corners match, like water moving over stones. Then, just above the ribbed cuffs, a small rainbow stripe, purple through to red: the kind of detail only the wearer and the people closest to her will notice. This cardigan falls open at the hip with no fastening. Wear it over a white tee and washed jeans. The cotton blend is soft and breathable. Crocheted square by square by a woman artisan, then joined and finished by hand.
