Hexagon Cardigan – Ecru

Two hexagons, folded into a single garment. That is the whole architecture of this cardigan, and it is quietly clever: the sleeves grow straight out of the body with no armhole seam, a batwing line that falls deep under the arm and narrows to a soft cuff. Fine stripes of lilac, baby pink and pale turquoise follow the edges of each shape, like the rings of something growing. On the back the two hexagons meet in a mirror image. Wear it boxy and open over a tee or a summer dress. The cotton blend is soft and airy. Crocheted round by round by hand.
