Christmas Cardigan

A whole festive window, gathered into one short cardigan. A reindeer, Santa, a snowman, a gingerbread figure and a little pudding each live in their own square, among snowflakes and red and green blocks, while the sleeves run in candy-cane stripes to the wrist. It reads like an advent calendar with every door already open. Leave it loose over plain black or red through the long run of December evenings, from the school fair to the family table. The organic cotton blend stays light enough for warm rooms. Crocheted by hand, and each panel settles into the whole a fraction differently.
