Cherry Cardigan – Pink

Pink heather, and then fruit. Little red cherries on green stems are scattered across the front, the back and right down the balloon sleeves, raised so you feel them before you see them. Against the heathered pink they have the softness of an orchard in blossom, the fruit already promised. This cardigan buttons up the V-neck on pink buttons, ribbed at the neck, cuffs and hem to hold its shape. Layer it unbuttoned over a cream roll-neck and light trousers, or close it over a dress. The merino wool blend is chunky and warm. Each cherry is crocheted and set by hand.
