Rose Cardigan – Ecru

Tone on tone, the roses appear slowly, the way a carving reveals itself when light comes across it at an angle. Each square holds a single rose, curled by hand and sewn on so it stands off the surface, while the openwork between them lets the air move through. Crocheted in a 60% cotton, 40% acrylic yarn, this cardigan is light enough for a summer evening yet textured enough to wear on its own, with ribbed bands at the front, cuffs and hem. Leave it open over a slip dress or a white shirt. Each rose is crocheted and stitched on by Anatolian hands, so no two curl in quite the same way.
