Mosaic Cardigan – Khaki

Walled gardens keep their colour longest. Olive leaves, mustard heads grown heavy, a little mauve where the asters open: each square of this cardigan is a small bed in that garden, framed by olive green so the colours sit together the way plants do, never quite planned. It is made for afternoons outdoors, over a white shirt and rolled denim, the sleeves flaring slightly at the wrist. Crocheted in an organic cotton blend, it breathes in the warmth and gives a gentle layer when the shade comes in.
