Every square keeps its own small sun. A daisy turns at the centre of each one, petals spinning on grounds that never quite agree, and the cream scallops at every edge hold the argument together like a frame around a busy garden. This is a two-piece for the long end of a warm day: the cami and skirt worn as one picture, or the top alone over linen trousers when the evening cools. The crochet is light and open, an organic cotton blend that lets the air move through it. Worked by women artisans, square by square, so the colours meet in shifting combinations.
