3D Sunflower Cardigan – Burgundy

Burgundy is a colour of evenings, wine poured, curtains drawn, and against it these sunflowers glow like lamps in a window. Each bloom is properly sculptural, a ring of popcorn stitches around a domed centre, standing clear of the ground so the fabric has real depth in the hand and a soft weight on the shoulders. Wear this cardigan open over a white shirt and denim shorts at the end of summer, or over a roll-neck when the air turns. The fit is relaxed, sitting at the hip, with ribbing at collar, bands, cuffs and hem. Crocheted by hand, square by square, each one slightly its own.
