Sunflower Slipover

Row upon row of sunflowers, all facing forward, as if the whole field had turned at once toward whoever is looking. The cream between them is warm, like late light on stubble, and the brown hearts give each flower its gravity. Ribbing at the crew neck and waist draws the shape in so it holds. Pull the slipover on over a shirt with the collar showing, or wear it alone on a warm day. The organic cotton blend is breathable, with a soft and substantial feel. It is crocheted by hand, square by square, which is why no two rows of flowers sit quite in line.
