Sunflower Shoulder Bag – Cream

Sunflowers on warm cream, held in a lattice of bright orange seams that runs on the diagonal, so the bag looks less like a grid than a trellis with the flowers grown through it. Each bloom is worked in rounds, a dark centre, a ring of orange, then plump yellow puffs that stand up from the surface. The top rises into two soft peaks, each with its own wide strap, so it sits flat and comfortable on the shoulder. Cotton-lined with a magnetic closure, light in the organic cotton blend, and bright enough to lift a plain grey day. Hand-crocheted by women artisans, petal by petal.

Measures 30 cm wide, 28 cm tall and 12 cm deep.
