Medallion Tote – Rust

Warm as a brick wall at the end of a long afternoon. Rust carries the ground, and from a small star at the centre the medallion builds outwards in mustard shells and ridges of cream and chocolate brown, ring after ring, like ripples on a pond that has caught the low sun. Four plain squares quieten the back. Long straps striped in rust, cream, brown and mustard sit easily on the shoulder; inside there is a cotton lining, a pocket and a magnetic closure. It belongs with camel coats, cords and boots. Crocheted round by round by women artisans in an organic cotton blend, each ring placed by hand.

Measures 33 cm wide, 29 cm tall and 9 cm deep.
