Balaclava – Sand & Lilac

Warm sand underneath, and on top a small meadow: lilac, olive, mustard and cream, the colours of wild thyme and lichen on a dry stone wall. The violet lifts what might otherwise be an entirely earthy palette, like a single wildflower on a hillside. Wear this balaclava with camel, khaki or washed black on a bright cold morning when the light is low. The hood comes down deep to keep the throat warm, the face stays open, and there is nothing to fasten. Each square is crocheted on its own and joined by Anatolian hands, so no two look exactly alike.
