Rainbow Maxi Cardigan

Floor-length and hooded, this cardigan has the presence of a cloak from a story told by firelight. Bright squares of red, blue, green, pink and orange run from hood to hem, each set on a black ground, so the effect is of a procession of lanterns moving through the night. Black sashing pulls the riot into order, and a scalloped border edged in white runs down each front. Leave it open over all-black and let it fall loose to the ankle. Crocheted in an organic cotton blend, it breathes yet has a sense of weight in its length. Every square is made by hand, each glowing at a slightly different warmth.
