Kaleidoscope Vest

Turn a kaleidoscope and every view is new; this vest keeps all the views at once. Inside a black grid, each square spins its own medallion in red, orange, teal, purple and pink, little wheels and stars that never repeat. Bright stitching runs along the seams like light catching the edges of glass. Zip it closed over black for something sharp and graphic, or wear it open over white and let it breathe. The crochet has body and holds its shape. Each square is crocheted separately by hand, so the pattern of colour is never quite the same twice.
