Balaclava – Denim & Mustard

Washed denim blue is the colour of workwear left out in the sun, and mustard is the colour of the light that faded it. Put together, with cream and a navy round tying each square in, they feel like a summer remembered in January. This balaclava has an ease to it, more weekend than evening, made for flasks of tea and long walks along the front. It covers head and neck, the face stays open, and the deep neck section keeps the throat warm. Large squares, each crocheted on its own and joined by hand, so every one sits slightly differently.
