Daisy Ruffle Tank Top

Like a tablecloth laid for a garden lunch, the daisies sit in tidy rows, cream petals and mustard centres on a ground of cornflower blue. The order is gentle rather than strict, and at the shoulders it gives way altogether to a cream ruffle that softens the line. The back opens down the middle and laces shut with a cream cord, so the top draws in or lets out as you need. Cropped, with a straight square neckline, it sits neatly over high-waisted jeans or a summer skirt. Worked by women artisans in a cotton blend, every daisy left a little to itself.
