Bloom Cropped Jumper

Meadows look like this from a low-flying plane: a grid of small fields, each with one bright thing growing in it. Cream squares hold a single flower apiece, pink, orange, turquoise, purple, joined edge to edge and carried right down the long sleeves. The cropped cut and wide square neck give this jumper a lightness, and the scalloped hem ends things with a small curtsey. Pull it over a fitted top or a slip dress with jeans on a mild evening; the cotton blend breathes. Every flower is crocheted into its square by women artisans and lands with a slight lean of its own.
