Balaclava – Magenta

Magenta is never shy, and this balaclava does not pretend otherwise. Bright pink carries it all, with cream squares set in like windows, each ringed in tight rounds around a small flowered core. From across a street it reads as colour; up close, as pattern. Wear it against black and grey to wake a winter outfit up, or with denim on a cold, bright Saturday. The crochet hugs the head and comes down over the neck, leaving the face clear behind a neat edge. Built by hand from separate panels, so the pink warms and cools as it moves around the head.
