Terra Vest

Earth is the whole palette here, a ploughed field and the hedges around it, worked in chocolate brown, rust, sage and mustard. Each square centres on a small raised flower you can feel with your thumb, and the back opens into one large medallion radiating out in rings, like the growth rings of an old tree. It is a grounding vest, the kind you reach for on an ordinary day and feel better in. Wear it loose with jeans and a white tee. The crochet sits firm and textured, with a reassuring weight. Worked by hand in squares, each field tilled a little differently.
