Constellation T-Shirt

Three blue stars, grouped low on the chest like a small constellation only you know the name of. Everything else is white, open sky, and the restraint is what gives the stars their weight. Each one is crocheted round by round and stitched on by hand, so every point is slightly its own shape. A tight red zigzag runs along the sleeves and hem, a sharp horizon under all that space. A relaxed cotton tee for every day: on its own in the heat, under an open shirt when the evening comes. Hand-finished by women artisans, never quite the same twice.
