Chunky Wool Jumper – Earth

Ploughed fields, turned leaves, river water: the palette of late autumn rings outward from a single square. Rust, brown, teal and mustard widen round by round until they loosen into broad stripes at the cuffs and hem, like a landscape seen from higher and higher up. There is something grounding in it, a jumper that feels like standing still. The chunky crochet has weight and warmth, cut roomy with a wide neck and wide sleeves, sitting at the hip.
